Experience Koo Namu: A Hidden Gem in Puerto Viejo

Ka Namu is located on the only hill in the Puerto Viejo area, offering amazing views of the rainforest and nearby beaches. The property borders the untouched indigenous reserve of Cerro Pirripli, so nature and wildlife are all around you. Even though you're surrounded by jungle, Ka Namu is just a 5-minute drive from the famous Cocles Beach and 10 minutes from the lively Puerto Viejo town, giving you the best of both worlds—peaceful nature and easy access to fun spots.

My Story: A Costa Rican Adventure Enthusiast

Born and raised in Costa Rica since 1962, my deep connection with nature and wildlife has shaped who I am today. I’ve been surfing in this beautiful region since the early days, back when only a handful of locals knew the waves. Every surf trip across Costa Rica was a new adventure, and that passion for the ocean has only grown stronger over time. As a surfer and river kayaker, I’ve come to appreciate the stunning landscapes and diverse wildlife that this country has to offer.

I’m also passionate about animals and plants, which is why I love working on my property, surrounded by the natural beauty of the area. I can’t wait to share the incredible wildlife and hidden gems of this region with you. During your stay, feel free to ask me for tips on exploring Costa Rica—I’m happy to share my knowledge to make your experience unforgettable.
